Studio Members and families,
Join us for a Welcome Back gathering for all Studio Members! We’ll have food and games in my backyard for a chance to reconnect and get ready for an exciting session! Families and students are invited to drop in during this event to say hi, check out the space, and pick up important documents for the semester. Parents/Guardians, feel free to come on in and check out the space where your singers spend so much time! Plus I get so little time with you, I’d love to see you before our schedules fill up.
Singers, we’re going to have photographer and fellow Studio Member Julia Weaver set up a station to take professional headshots for those interested.
Headshots are not included in your Studio Membership, so there is a separate fee for those who want their headshot taken. Come looking glamorous!
Headshot Fee: $25
Payment can be made to Julia at the time of the event
Check out our photographer, Julia Weaver’s website and social media pages:
Since this is a newly formed group, we will spend some time getting to know each other, learning the warmups we’ll focus on during the year, and singing songs together.
Come prepared with something you love to sing. We will not be providing feedback, simply singing to get used to performing for each other, learning each others voices, and just the joy of it!
Reminder: Rising Artists are not required to sing, but it’s strongly encouraged. This is an important time to grow comfortable with being “imperfect” and learning with your peers.
Welcome Back Group Class
Young Artist Group Members Only
For our first Group Class of the semester, Young Artists will discuss the fundamentals of practicing and how to improve the work they do at home. I will also hand out a packet of warmups and exercises to prepare the group for the rest of the year.
With the remaining time, everyone who wants to will have an opportunity to sing any song they love to sing. There will be no feedback or comments at this group class.
